Diane Epperson

Joy "Diane" Epperson of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, May 23, 2014 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born April 18, 1952 to William "Mr. Bill" Taylor and Betty (Hansard) Taylor in Mt. Ida, Arkansas. Diane was 62 years, 1 month and 5 days old.

Diane grew up in the Waldron area. As a young lady, she married the love of her life, Alton Epperson. They shared many years together and enjoyed being parents to one son, Shawn. Diane loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. Diane enjoyed going to the drag races, watching her family play softball and crafting. She was a well known beautician in Waldron. She made you feel right at home when you entered the doors of her shop. She was always a big barrel of laughs. After she retired from her shop, Diane became involved in the organization CASA. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. This was very dear to her heart. She loved being able to help the children. She was a liaison for the children. She was a "Guardian Angel" to the them.

Diane leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Alton Epperson of the home, one son Shawn Epperson of Waldron, Arkansas, one brother Billy Taylor and wife Sharon of Natural Dam, Arkansas. Diane will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including many a wonderful extended family, many friends and loved ones.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Taylor and Betty (Hansard) Taylor.

Diane's life celebration memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
