Imogene Mae McCurry

Imogene Mae McCurry of Nella, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Imogene was born May 28, 1929 to John Thomas Rose and Ruth Gertrude (Sutton) Rose in Nella, Arkansas. Imogene was 86 years, 3 months and 4 days old. She was a lifetime member of Shiloh Church.

Imogene worked at Waldron Furniture Factory and news paper for many years. Her hobby was being outside with her cows. She loved being on the farm. She always greeted everyone with "Good Morning", no matter what time of day it actually was. It tickled her when the road to her farm got named "Imogene Road". She looked forward to family time together making memories and just spending time with everyone.

Imogene leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Howard McCurry and wife Wanda of Nella, Arkansas and one sister, Betty J. Boggs of Booneville, Arkansas. Granny will forever remain in the hearts of her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, Sr., one son, Harley, two sisters, Bonnie Forrest and Selma Smith as well as three brothers: John Rose, Albert Rose and Claude Rose.
Imogene's life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Shiloh Church in Nella, Arkansas with Rev. Terry Benton officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Nella, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Imogene's pallbearers will be Harley McCurry, Brad McCurry, Josh McCurry, Tracy Canada, Raymon Espinoza, and Josh Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Rose, Freddie Rice and Leon Johnson.

Imogene's visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
