Marvin Dee Smart of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Marvin was born August 7, 1938 to Dee Willis Smart and Roberta (Massey) Smart in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. Marvin was 77 years, 5 months and 3 days old.

Marvin was a loving and caring man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. He treasured time spent with family and friends.

Marvin leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children: Shane Wren and Lisa Brown both of Waldron, Arkansas and Mary Collins of Cresson, Texas. Pawpaw will remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Floyd Raymond Brown and Fauntella Dream Passmore and fiance' Mack Wagner, as well as four great grandchildren: Bryce Passmore, Abigail Wagner, Hunter Brown, Gage Brown. Marvin will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including a host of friends and loved ones.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Bell Smart and his parents: Dee and Roberta Massey.

Marvin's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. George Crump officiating. Interment will follow in the Lamb Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Marvin's pallbearers will be Mack Wagner, Floyd D. Brown, Brian Canada, Bobby White, Justin Scott and Shane Wren.

Marvin's visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. till the funeral hour at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
