June 3, 1961 — May 8, 2015

Michael Dayle Hitchcock of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, May 8, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born June 3, 1961 to Peter Garfield Murry Hitchcock and Edna Vivian (Harvey) Hitchcock in Newport Beach, California. Mike was 53 years, 11 months and 26 days old.

Mike was known as a hard working family man. Everything he did revolved around making sure his family had everything they needed to be comfortable and successful in life and he did a great job at that. In his younger not so busy years he would spend his free time riding motorcycles, bicycles, playing guitar and practicing multiple disciplines of martial arts. Always willing to help out his siblings and lend them a strong back, he also was a mentor to his nieces and nephews being the built-in baby sitter for them. A job which he loved.

Mike married the love of his life, Judy Wagner. Together they raised four boys and then became blessed as grandparents. When Mike wasn't working at his job, he loved to be working with his cattle and on his farm. Mike was also an avid fan of a good meal. He loved to eat. Mike loved all his family and treasured times when they would all gather. Although he will be missed he has already supplied a lifetime of love and care. He enjoyed a large extended family and held the memories made dear to his heart.

Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife Judy (Wagner) Hitchcock of the home, four sons: Dustan of Waldron, Arkansas, Mychael of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Levi of Dallas, Texas, and Daniel of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Papa will forever remain in the hearts of his eight and a half grandchildren. Mike will also remain in the hearts of his two sisters: Glenda Stevens of Mont Clare, California and Bea Romachley of Huntington Beach, California and one brother: Danny Hitchcock and wife Erline of Waldron, Arkansas. Mike will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives that were impacted by him including, a host of nieces, nephews, and abundance of family, friends and loved ones.
