Steven Dale Eaves

Steven Dale Eaves of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, January 14, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born February 17, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Kay Madeline Long (Eaves) and Eugene Earl Eaves. Steve was 54 years, 10 months and 28 days old.

Steve married the love of his life in February 1982. Together they enjoyed each other's company, made a life of farming and raised two sons. Steve was very active in his community. He was a member of Hon Volunteer Fire Dept., he was a first responder, he was a poultry farmer and he worked for SouthWest EMS. In years past Steve had also been involved in 4-H and rodeo club. Steve enjoyed fishing and just going for a good drive in the country. As busy as life was, Steve always found time to make lasting memories with his grandchildren and his family. He held those times close to his heart.

Steve leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 33 years Debbie of the home, two sons: Jeremy and wife Marilyn and Jesse all of Waldron, Arkansas. Papa Steve will forever remain in the hearts of three grandchildren: Allison Eaves, Daniel Bullard and Jasmine Lecompte. Steve will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including an extended family of dear friends and loved ones.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Kay Eaves.

Steve's graveside life celebration will at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Center Point Cemetery in Hon, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Steve's pallbearers will be Jeremy Eaves, Jesse Eaves, Jeff Davis, Joey Yarbrough, Daniel Dean, Harrell Cabe, Gary Clepper and Guy Taylor.

Steve's visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
