Biography

M. Sue Slater 68, of Waldron passed from this life Friday, January 15, 2010 in her home surrounded by her family.

Sue was born September 15, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late James Claudie Sehorn and Addie Lou (Goddard) Sehorn. She was a homemaker and attended the Waldron First Assembly of God Church.

Sue is survived by her husband of 42 years, C. R. “Hambone” Slater of the home; two daughters, Sheila D. Walker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Marla Sue Ham of Mena, Arkansas; one brother, Bill Sehorn and wife Joyce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and two sister-in-laws, Pat Sehorn of Waldron, AR, Deanna Sehorn of Waldron, AR.

Sue’s graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Sehorn Cemetery in Winfield, Arkansas with Rev. Donny Wagner, officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, AR.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
