Carol June (Pendergraft) Millard

Carol June Millard of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday February 22, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born June 12, 1940 to William David Pendergraft and Mildred Francis (Finney) Pendergraft in Danville, Arkansas. She was 77 years, 8 months and 11 days old.

At the young age of 19, Carol married her husband Jessie and together they shared 58 wonderful years. She was a devoted pastors wife who stood by Jessie's side while he shared the gospel with so many others. Carol was a loving mother who was always committed to her family. After raising their family, Carol and Jessie opened their home and hearts to many children across the area. She was known for being so welcoming and loving to all.

Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, six children: Donna Barnes and husband Greg of Gans, Oklahoma, David Millard and wife Gretta of Waldron, Arkansas, Dane Millard and wife Thelma of Waldron, Arkansas, Deane Jones and husband Kenny of Huntsville, Alabama, Danette Montgomery and husband Jeff of Plainview, Arkansas, and Chris Millard and wife Clarissa of Auburn, Nebraska. She also leaves behind two sisters: Thelma Ball and husband Pledger of Danville, Arkansas and Mary Hartman of Denver Colorado and two brothers: W.T. "Bill" Pendergraft and wife Ada of Dover, Arkansas and Jerry Pendergraft and wife Mary of Danville, Arkansas. Granny will forever remain in the hearts of her 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.. Carol will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband Jessie Millard, parents: William and Mildred(Finney) Pendergraft, one grandson, Kyle Scamardo, and one brother, Don Lee Pendergraft.

Carol's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Konnor McKay and Rev. Donnie Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in the Egypt Cemetery in Blue Ball, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted in the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Carol's pallbearers will be her grandsons, Vincent Barnes, Josh Millard, Brandon Millard, Michael Millard, Ethan Millard, Heath Millard, Brent Montgomery, and Jarrod Montgomery.

Carol's visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.
