Edna Nell (Spencer) Boston

Edna Nell Boston of Waldron, Arkansas (formerly of Mena, Arkansas) passed from this life, Sunday, March, 4, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas. Edna was born July 17, 1941 to Bennie W. Spencer and Nellie N. (Thompson) Spencer. She was 76 years, 7 months and 15 days old.

Edna was from a musical family. She grew up singing in the church choir as a youth. Later in life, she enjoyed singing while her brothers played instruments. Edna loved her family and was a caring person. She would lend a hand to anyone she could help.

Edna leaves behind to cherish her memory, several nieces and nephews: Laura Lawson of Mena, Arkansas, Teresa Ashlock of Waldron, Arkansas, Tammy Richmond of Booneville, Arkansas, Pamela Lauridson and Marianne Pierce both of Phoenix, Arizona and Dennis Spencer of Waldron, Arkansas and Charles Spencer of Phoenix, Arizona as well as an extended family of great nieces and nephews. Edna will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Nellie Spencer, one sister, Joyce Spencer and two brothers, Ben Spencer and Marion Spencer.

Edna's life celebration will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Donnie Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Kirk Cemetery in Cauthron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Scott Lawson, Casey Richmond, Brandi Manning, Laura Lawson, Keith Wright and Donnie Scantling. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Spencer, Melissa Wright and Laurie Scantling.

Edna's visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.
