Jack Leonard Meeker

May 20, 1953 — September 6, 2017

Jack L. Meeker of Lake Hinkle, Arkansas, formerly of Greenwood, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Lake Hinkle surrounded by his loving family. Jack was 64 years old. He was born May 20, 1953 to Jasper Meeker and Donna Lou (LaMie) Meeker. Jack attended Unity Baptist Church in the Lake Hinkle community.

Jack Meeker was quite the character. He enjoyed laughter, especially if he was behind it. He enjoyed cutting up and simply having a good time. He was one to pester his family and loved ones. If Jack wasn't giving someone a hard time, then Jack wasn't around. He was a loving man who was warm and welcoming. He looked forward to time spent with his family and friends doing what he loved most, just being together.

Jack leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters, Joy Steele and her companion Johnny Baker, and Angela Farrow of New Port Richey, Florida. Grandpa will forever remain in the hearts of his five grandchildren, Preston, Brandon, Katarina, Krissy, and Tommy, great granddaughter Gianna, and one great grand baby on the way. Jack is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Brenda Gann and husband Dickie, Karla Logue and husband Ronnie, Ralph Meeker and wife Debbie, Lonnie Meeker and wife Rhonda and Shelly Hill and husband Gerald all of Greenwood, Arkansas. Jack will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones dear to his heart.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Leigh Meeker and his parents, Jasper and Donna Meeker.

Jack's memorial life celebration will be held, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church ( Waldron, AR) near Lake Hinkle with Rev. Jack Smith officiating.
