Jo Ann Harrison

Jo Ann Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Friday, March 9, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Jo Ann was born may 26, 1947 in Freedom, Arkansas to Willie Lee Smith and Pearlie Phillips Smith. Jo Ann was 70 years, 9 months and 11 days old.

Jo Ann worked for Waldron Public Schools for 26 years before she retired. She enjoyed going to dances. Her favorite thing was to spend time with her family. She loved making precious memories to last a lifetime.

Jo Ann leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Ray Harrison and wife Nicole, Kevin Harrison and wife Tammy all of Waldron, Arkansas. Grandma will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren: Ashley Solley and husband Cody of Blueball, Arkansas and Connor Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas, as well as two great grandchildren: Ryleigh Harrison and Laelynn Solley. Jo Ann is also survived by one sister, Delores Beran and husband Ronnie of Mansfield, Arkansas. Jo Ann will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends dear to her.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee Smith and Pearlie Smith-Owens and one brother, Johnnie Smith.

Jo Ann's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Millard Smith offficiating. Interment will follow in the Freedom Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Jo Ann's pallbearers will be Cody Solley, Terry Solley, Dominic Griffin, Ronnie Beran, Marcus Pumphrey and Alex Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Hutchens and Russell Hutchens.

Jo Ann's visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
