John Thurman Sharp

John Thurman Sharp of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. John was born June 27, 1964 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Rose Ann (Carlton) Sharp and Roy T. Sharp. John was 54 years, 1 month and 30 days old. He was a member of the Westside Pentecostal Church of God in Huntington, Arkansas.

John was a huge sports fan. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks. John enjoyed his family and spending time with them.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Tammy of the home, two daughters: Mandy Martin and husband Travis of Mansfield, Arkansas and Jennifer Sharp of Huntington, Arkansas, five step children and one sister, Kimmy Young, of Fort Smith, Arkansas. John will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of extended family, friends and neighbors.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Rose Ann Sharp and one brother, Steve Sharp.

John's life celebration will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Westside Pentecostal Church of God in Huntington, Arkansas with Rev. Kenneth Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington, Cemetery in Huntington, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

John's pallbearers will be Jonathan Turner, Timothy Turner, Joshua Turner, Mike McDonald, Keith Moore and Michael Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren: Kelton Martin, Jordan Martin, Travis John Martin, Andrew Manning and Jarod Manning.

John's visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
