Laura Ann (Rodgers) Callaway of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday December 4, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Laura was born April 26, 1929 to Beula Beatrice (Graves) Rodgers and Harley Grear Rodgers in Abbott, Arkansas. Laura was 88 years, 7 months and 8 days old. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas.

In her younger days Laura enjoyed dancing. But as of the last several years, Laura enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and JC Penney. Laura was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished her family and looked forward to spending time with them. Making everlasting memories were treasured moments.

Laura leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Jerry Don Callaway and wife Tina of Greenwood, Arkansas, Kevin Callaway of Waldron, Arkansas; one daughter, Susan Callaway and fiance Rick Borum of Greenwood, Arkansas. Ninny, also known as Granny, will forever remain in the hearts of her twelve grandchildren: Jaena Raelene Frye, Daniel Anthony Adams, Tabitha Echo Greenwood, Joshua Ethan Callaway, Julia Syrena Callaway, Holly Elizabeth Bearden, Christopher Lee Hope, Laura Elizabeth Harper, Nathan Daniel Hope, Ricky Lee Borum, Heather Wall, April Denise Callaway and numerous great grandchildren. Laura will be missed by one brother, David Rodgers and wife, Anna of Talihina, Oklahoma, and all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted by hers, including an extended family of friends and loved ones.

Laura was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Roy Callaway, parents, Beatrice and Grear Rodgers and a brother Michael Rodgers.

Laura's life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Sid Ree officiating. Interment will follow in the Coop Prairie Cemetery in Mansfield, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Laura's pallbearers will be Christopher Hope, Daniel Hope, Daniel Adams, Randy Harper, CJ Greenwood and Garry Bearden.

Laura's visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where Laura's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
