Betty Blume

Betty L. Blume, 83, of Waldron passed from this life, Monday, January 17, 2011 in a Waldron hospital. Betty was born June 8, 1928 in Waltreak, AR to the late Martin & Ida Horn of Waldron. Betty was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. After retirement, she moved home to Waldron. Betty was a caring and loving person who always looked for the good in everyone regardless of their position in life. Betty is survived by her son, Michael Blume of Waldron, grandsons Jeremy Blume of Lakeside,AZ and Tyie Blume of Hinesville, GA, brother Wayne Horn (Ethel) of Waldron & sister Virginia Sizemore of Conway. plus a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Mel Blume, brother Ule Horn & sisters Bevie Watson & Vicky Owens Atchinson. Celebrations of Betty?s life will be held at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God (E. 80) on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rickey Hunt, officiating. Arrangement are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
