Bill Sanders

Billy Gene Sanders, Sr., 75, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in a Waldron nursing home. Bill was born February 25, 1935 in Waldron, Arkansas to the Late Leslie Ernest Sanders and Alice Wilma (Clark) Sanders. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department, a deacon and Sunday school teacher at the Winfield Baptist Church. Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Sanders of the home; one daughter, Sonya Gaines of Lorenzo, Texas; two sons, Phillip Sanders of Barling, Arkansas, Billy Gene Sanders, Jr. of Waldron, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Bill?s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery in Winfield, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas Bill?s pallbearers will be Wes Nelson, Tyler Brewer, Dan Ridenhour, Patrick Sanders, Jimmy Stinson and Don Hambleton. His honorary pallbearers will be Joe Hanna, Butch Hanna, Ron Hale, Stanley Brewer and Brad Evans. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Bill?s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
