Charles Simmons

Charles Hubert Simmons, 87, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Saturday, June 12, 2010 in a Waldron, Arkansas nursing home. Charles was born January 2, 1923 in Morrisville, Missouri to the late John William Simmons and Mayme Catherine (Thompson) Simmons. He was a retired millwright. Charles is survived by three daughters, Mickey Harris of Waldron, Arkansas, Charlotte Erxleben of Crockett, Texas, Pam Vangerud of Magnolia, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jason Erxleben, Jerry Robertson, Devin Erxleben, Tommy Holloway, Travis Erxleben all of Texas, Jeffery Manning, Jr., Michael Manning, Dayna Manning all of Arkansas; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by the mother of his three daughters, Irene Simmons. Charles? will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
