Coy Junior Butler of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Friday, December 8, 2017 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Coy was born October 21, 1942 in Waldron, Arkansas to Coy Imon Butler and Eunice Marie (Bennett) Butler. Coy was 75 years, 1 month, and 17 days old. Coy attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Waldron, Arkansas.

Coy was a hard worker. He raised chickens for over twenty years. He was notorious in and around Waldron for being able to fix any type of farm equipment. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He loved time spent with friends and family.

Coy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 46 years, Jerri Ann of the home, three sons: Michael Butler and Corey Butler both of Waldron, Arkansas and Carl Butler and wife Nora of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Papa will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Aubrey, Jace, Carl Lee, Jimmy, Kevin and Paola. Coy is also survived by his siblings: twin sister, Carol Butler Arrington of Sherwood, Arkansas, Rose Sullivan of El Dorado, Arkansas, Janey Harrison of Scranton, Arkansas, Janet Carnahan of Mena, Arkansas, Gary Butler, of Rathdrum, Idaho, Randy Butler of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ralph Butler of Waldron, Arkansas and Jim Butler of Cooper Texas. Coy will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors.

Coy was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Butler and his parents, Coy and Eunice Butler.

Coy's life celebration will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt and Rev. LeRoy Bass officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Coy's pallbearers will be Michael Buffington, David Jones, Vincent Jones, David Richmond,Gary Cox and Glen Billy. Honorary pallbearers will be Thurston Tinder, Lyndy Holland and the men of Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Coy's visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
