Diana Williams, 65, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home. Diana was born August 28, 1945 in Heavener, Oklahoma to the late Willard Lynn and Avalene (Plummer) Campbell. She was a dental assistant in Greenwood for many years, and attended the Haw Creek Baptist Church in Waldron. Diana is survived by her husband John Ray Williams of the home; one son, Wesley Wade Williams and wife Tammy of Greenbrier, Arkansas; one grandson, Brixton Williams of Greenbrier, Arkansas; and one sister, Sue Callahan of Waldron, Arkansas. Diana?s celebration of life service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Greenwood First Baptist Church with Rev. John Elmore, officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Diana?s pallbearers will be Isreal Beggs, Brian Jones, Reggie Owens, Doug Pschier, Shorty Holland, and Bufford Martin. Diana?s visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron and 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at the McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Her family will receive friends at McConnell Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Peachtree Hospice,2910 Jenny Lind, Building 4,Fort Smith, AR 72901.
