Donnie Wayne Yandell of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Donnie was born November 7, 1955 to Kenneth Yandell and Johnnie Faye (Smith) Wood in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was 62 years, 0ne month and 30 days old.
Donnie was a drywaller by trade but he was a jack of all trades. He loved to hunt and fish. However, his most treasured times was when he was surrounded by his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and making treasured memories to last a lifetime.
Donnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of many years, Jewell of the home, one daughter, Crystal Green and husband Jerry of Ola, Arkansas, one son, Travis Yandell, and two step daughters, Ashley Ridenhour and Michelle Nix all of Waldron, Arkansas. Donnie is also survived by his mother, Johnnie Faye Wood and three brothers: Charles Yandell and Jimmy (Dobber) Yandell and wife Amanda all of Waldron, Arkansas and Will Fry of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Papa will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Dylon Piles, Jordon Oliver, Amberlin Piles, Alison Green, Trevor Kastl, Clayvon Lunsford and Brantley Lunsford as well as two great grandchildren. Donnie will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family, friends and neighbors.
Donnie is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Yandell.
Donnie's memorial life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Harold Wayne Yandell officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
