a��Dr. Philip (Phil) Arno Mariotti, a resident of Waldron, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was born May 8, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Phil was 73 years old.

Phil enjoyed classical music, his collection of guns, target shooting, photography, Astronomy, golf and Geology. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He taught them to just enjoy life and have fun. He created memories they will cherish all their life. He loved his family. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Phil is survived by his wife Susan, 2 sons, Steven and Mike, 2 daughters Julianne Bartell and husband, Patrick, and Amanda Jimenez and wife Rhonda. One brother David and wife Marilyn of Michigan. Grandpa Phil will forever remain in the hearts of 2 grandchildren Jack and Sarah Bartell. Phil will also be missed by his life long friend Father Dale Matson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arno Mariotti and Florence DePietro Mariotti.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Son in law Patrick Bartell will be leading the service. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

A reception will be held at Church Hall at St. Jude Catholic Church in Waldron, Arkansas after the service.
