Edwin Kelly Hawthorne

Edwin Kelly Hawthorne of Midland Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Midland, Arkansas. Kelly was born October 30, 1965 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Fred Wilson Hawthorne Jr. and Jeannette JoAnn (Branham) Hawthorne. Kelly was 48 years and 15 days old.

While Kelly was at peace with whatever came his way. He was a Godly man and natural causes made his life here with us a little shorter. He enjoyed reading his Bible and learning about the scripture. When Kelly wasn't busy doing a multitude of other things, he loved to go fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Kelly leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Fred and JoAnn Hawthorne of Midland, Arkansas, one daughter, Janie Hawthorne Owens and husband Zeke of Waldron, Arkansas, one son, Brandon Kelly Hawthorne of Houston, Texas, one sister Laneia D. Walter of Rolla, Missouri, two grandchildren: Mariah Nicole Hawthorne and Emili Renee Hawthorne, one nephew, Tyler S. Epperson of Springdale, Arkansas. Kelly will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him, including his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Kelly's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Chant Pentecostal Church of God in Y-City Arkansas with Rev. Mike Shaddon officiating. Interment will follow in the Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Kelly's pallbearers will be Marvin Coffey, Ian Houston, Nathan Roberts, Todd Hays, Adam Roberts, Philip Campbell and Matt Walters.

Kelly's visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
