Elva Jean Taylor, 61, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 16th, 2009 in a Waldron, Arkansas hospital.
Elva was born in Waldron, Arkansas on June 18, 1947, the daughter of Robert Lee Payne and Sally Louretha (Shores) Hathaway.
She was a member of New Life Center in Waldron, Arkansas and was a homemaker.
Elva is survived by a loving companion, Charles Tharp, Sr., two daughters, Sheila Stallings and husband Dirk of Little Elm, TX. LaVonda Martin and husband Wayne, Jr. of Cecil, AR, two sons Charles Tharp, Jr. and fiancé Robyn Holt of Waldron, AR., Homer "Butch" Tharp of Oklahoma City, OK.; 12 Grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Elva is also survived by a sister, Peggy Simpson of Waldron, AR. two brothers, Kenneth Huens of Poteau, OK., Bobby Leo Payne of Waldron, AR. Elva was preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Payne, one sister Bobbie Sue Lewis. A private service was held by the family.
Cremation was under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, AR.
