Harley Lester McCurry Jr. of Blansett, Arkansas, passed from this life, Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Blansett, Arkansas. Harley was born May 24, 1949 to Harley McCurry Sr. and Imogene (Rose) McCurry in Blansett, Arkansas. Harley was 64 years, 4 months and 16 days old.

Harley married the love of his life, Deb in 1968. Together they spent 45 years of hard work and dedication. He loved to work the cows and loved their farm. Harley enjoyed riding his motorcycle (of course it was a Harley) and hunting. Harley was well known for his love and expertise in cooking and eating crawfish. Harley's best loved times were those he spent with his grandkids. He treasured those moments dear to his heart.

Harley leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Debra McCurry of the home, three sons: Harley McCurry III (Harlo) and wife Shirley from Spiro, Oklahoma, Bradley McCurry and wife Amanda from Blansett, Arkansas, and Josh McCurry and wife Kelli from Packsaddle, Arkansas. Bubba will forever be missed by his grandchildren: Stephanie Leanne Walker of Waldron, Arkansas, Bradley Charles McCurry II of Blansett, Arkansas, Christopher Levi Hunter Shepard of Waldron, Arkansas, and Raylon Michael McCurry of Packsaddle, Arkansas. Harley is also survived by his mother, Imogene McCurry of Blansett, Arkansas, and one brother, Howard McCurry and wife Wanda of Blansett, Arkansas. Harley will be missed by all who knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Harley is preceded in death by his father, Harley McCurry Sr., and grandparents, Viola and Charlie McCurry, Tom and Ruth Rose.

Harley's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Clyde Traylor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Harley's pallbearers will be Mike Austin, Brian Jones, Brandon Jones, Clay Woodall, Harley Mullinax, Junior Saulsberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Randell Beaty, Stan Cotrall, Ronnie Nelson, James Scott, Danny Hale, Bill Boyd, Clarence Boyd.

Harley's visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Harley's family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
