Howard Junior DeShazo

Howard Junior DeShazo of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Howard was born June 16, 1951 in Bakersfield, California to Howard Clinton DeShazo and Norma Jean (Rush) DeShazo. Howard was 65 years, 1 month and 24 days old.

As a young man, Howard proudly served in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Carmen Sneed DeShazo and they shared 47 years together. Howard loved his family. He enjoyed every precious memory made. He looked forward to family time and enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones. When Howard had a chance, he also loved to do wood working and to be working outside.

Howard leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carmen of the home, two daughters: Lori Dart and husband David of Texarkana, Texas and Gina L. Wilson and husband Richard of Brookland, Arkansas and one son, Clinton E. DeShazo and wife Mary Elizabeth of Waldron, Arkansas. Grandpa will forever remain in the hearts of his 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Howard will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Norma DeShazo.
Howard's life celebration will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Ed Hines officiating. Interment will follow in the Freedom Cemetery, near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Howard's pallbearers will be Clinton DeShazo, Richard Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Allen Plowman, David Dart and Alex Carter.

Howard's visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
