James Edward ?Jim? Bedgood, 66, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, September 13, 2010 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital.
Jim was born July 18, 1944 in Pensacola, Florida to the Late James Rufus Bedgood and Mary Louise (Lewis) Bedgood. He was a member of the Winfield Baptist Church in Winfield, Arkansas.
Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Bedgood of the home; two step-son, Vince Johnson of Waldron, Arkansas, Rodney Brown, Jr. of Houston, Texas; one step-grandson, Vince Johnson, II, of Waldron, Arkansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his daughter, Pamela Diane Jobe.
Jim?s funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Lanman, officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
Honorary pallbearers will be The Men?s Sunday School Class at the Winfield Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Jim?s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday.
Memorials may be made in Jim?s memory to the American Cancer Society, c/o of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, P. O. Box 358, Waldron, Arkansas 72958.
