James Travis Howell

James Travis Howell of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas. Travis was born October 29, 1962 in Lompoc, California to J.T. Howell and Sharon Jean Ragains Howell. Travis was 53 years, 4 months and 13 days old.

Travis was a warm and helpful person. He helped anyone that needed a hand. In his younger days, Travis loved working on and with guns. He also enjoyed horseback riding. Travis was a loving father and brother.

Travis leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters: Kayla Howell and Kristy Sanders both of Waldron, Arkansas, one son, Jeremy Howell of Waldron, Arkansas as well as two sisters, Robin Helton of Waldron, Arkansas and Krystal Dodge of Russellville, Arkansas and one brother David Howell of Waldron, Arkansas. Papa Travis will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Jada Hinojosa, Gavin Sanders, and Jaren Howell. Travis will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Travis is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Sharon Howell, and one sister, Cindy Howell.

Travis' life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Arkansas with Rev. Grady Helton officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements will are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Travis' visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
