Johnathan McMillen

Johnathan McMillen, 19, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, December 5, 2010 in a Fort Smith Arkansas hospital. Johnathan was born May 24, 1991 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Monty Edward McMillen, Jr., and Vera Esther (Reed) Owens. He was an equipment operator in the logging industry, was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and loved to ride his four wheeler. He enjoyed spending time at Bates with his friends and extended family. Johnathan is survived by his father, Monty McMillen and wife Tracy of Waldron, AR; mother, Vera Owens and husband Kirk of Mansfield; three sisters, Kristen Oliver and husband, Aaron, of Waldron, Arkansas, Kiersten Smith of Mansfield, AR, Kelly Smith, of Waldron, AR; and one brother, David Smith, of Booneville, AR; Johnathan is also survived by his grandparents J.C. and Juanita Reed of Winfield, AR; two nephews, Xayden Ammons of Mansfield, AR, Keyton Oliver of Waldron, AR; two aunts, Dawn Colvin of Greenwood, AR and Joann McMillen of Van Buren, AR; his special ?Maw? at Bates, Arkansas; a special friend Kallie Hodge, of Mansfield, AR and a host of family and friends. Johnathan is preceded in death by one uncle, George Blaine Reed. Johnathan's funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Waldron First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery in Winfield, Arkansas. Arrangements will be entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Todd Abbott, Clint Ray Johnston, Shane Stafford, Shane Lovett, Eric Sims, Aaron Oliver, Tyler Oliver and Jeffery Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Abbott, Joe Stafford, Paul Holland, Harold Johnson, Joe Hodge, Larry Charles Rice, Jimmy Knox, Paul Rice, Josh Barnett, Vince Johnson, Clint Scott, and the 2009 Waldron High School football team. Johnathan?s visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, AR. Johnathan's family will receive friends at funeral home from 5:00 p.m.to7:00 p.m..
