Joyce Harris

Joyce Harris, 68, Huntington, Arkansas passed from this life Thursday, August 12, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. Joyce was born October 4, 1941 in Pocola, Oklahoma to the late Cecil Odeas Kannady and Dennie Myrtle (Clay) Kannady. She worked at Bost in Witcherville, Arkansas Joyce is survived by one son, Mark Harris and wife Sherry of Huntington, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chase Harris, Jarrett Harris, Bethany Redmon, Caleb Redmon; one sister, Dovie Jenkins of Waco, Texas; three brothers, Elton Kannady of Arkoma, Oklahoma, Hilton Kannady of Pocola, Oklahoma, Allen Kannady of Pocola, Oklahoma. Joyce?s funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Huntington First Assembly of God with Rev. Randy Cauthran, officiating. Interment will be in the Huntington Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolen Harris, one son, Lyndell Harris. Pallbearers will be Shannon Kannady, Sheldon Kannady, Allen Kannady, Eric Kannady, William Walker, and Jimmy Harris. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron and 12 noon to the funeral hour Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Huntington First Assembly of God.
