Lawrence E. Zemlo of Parks, Arkansas passed from this life, Monday, September 14, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Lawrence was born January 16, 1943 in Randolph, Wisconsin to Albert J. Zemlo and Adeline (Reak) Zemlo. Lawrence was 72 years, 7 months and 29 days old.

Lawrence served a time in United States Marines. He later worked for the United States Postal Service as a postmaster. Lawrence was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He loved to watch them play. He enjoyed working in his garden.


Lawrence leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Betty of the home, six daughters: Marcia Lawrence of Florida, Kristin Braaksma of Wisconsin, Sheryl Boen of Arkansas, Sandy Lambkin of Oklahoma, Susan Newberry of Oklahoma and Sheila Cramer of Oklahoma and three sons: Jon Zemlo of Wisconsin, Brad Zemlo of Wisconsin and Richard Meador of Arkansas and one sister, Kathy Staddler of Wisconsin. Grandpa will be missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lawrence's memorial life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Parks Southern Baptist Church in Parks, Arkansas with Rev. Mike Shaddon officiating. Cremation is being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansa
