Clyde Leon Richmond 68, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 in a Waldron, Arkansas hospital surrounded by his loving family. Leon was born November 2, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late Burl Richmond and Freddie Mae (House) Richmond. He was a member of the Waldron Church of Christ, a retired logger, avid hunter and fisherman. Leon is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brunetta Rose (Helton) Richmond of the home; two daughters, Sheila Dea Millard and husband Shane of Blue Ball, Arkansas, Brauna Rose Richmond of Waldron, Arkansas; one son, Danny Leon Richmond and wife Kristy of Waldron, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Danny Leon Richmond II and wife Trista, Kristen Oliver and husband Aaron, Justin Richmond, Markus Richmond, Hannah Franklin, Traver Butenschoen, Jacob Amos, Chad Millard, Samuel Millard, Robert Millard; three great-grandchildren, Keylee Rose Richmond, Keyton Allen Oliver, Karmen Dea Kesterson; one sister, Rosemary James of Waldron, Arkansas; and one brother, Lanny Richmond of Waldron, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Richmond. Leon?s going home service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Hunt, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at the Greenridge Community. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon?s deer hunting and fishing buddies. Leon?s visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Leon?s family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
