Lynda Jean Cowan

Lynda Jean Cowan of Fort Smith, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, November 29, 2013 in her home in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Lynda was born July 27, 1948 in Waldron, Arkansas to Oval Dewayne and Ann Lee Watkins. Lynda was 65 years, 4 months and 2 days old.


Lynda who was known to her family as "Grammy" cherished every moment she spent with her two children and three grandchildren. Lynda also had a huge spot in her heart for all animals especially her pets.


Lynda leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son Chad Keener and wife Amy of Charleston, Arkansas and one daughter Jacey Little of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Grammy will always be remembered by her three grandchildren Logan, Ryan, and Mason Keener. Lynda will be missed by all who knew her and the many whose lives she touched.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Oval Dewayne and Ann Lee (Milligan) Watkins, and one sister Pat Webb.

Lynda's memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
