Marshal Carnahan

Marshal Clayton Carnahan, of Waldron, Arkansas, was born September 30, 2011, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Billy Clayton Carnahan and Kristen Dionne (Trumble) Carnahan. Marshal passed from this life on August 27, 2026.

Marshal was a sweet, kind, and funny young man with a tender heart and a gentle spirit. He had a way of thinking about everyone else and cared deeply for the people around him. His compassion, thoughtfulness, and warm personality touched so many lives, and those who knew him will forever remember the kindness he so naturally showed to others.

Music was one of Marshal's greatest joys. A couple of years ago, he taught himself to play the guitar, and before long, his love of music grew to include the banjo, bass guitar, and electric guitar. He had a natural curiosity and determination when it came to music, that became a special way for him to express himself and bring joy into his life.

Marshal shared a uniquely close bond with his mom, Kristen. They talked often, and their connection was a constant source of love and comfort in both their lives. Marshal also enjoyed spending time playing Xbox with his dad and his friends. Those simple moments of laughter, fun, and time together became treasured memories for the people who loved him most. He had a special place in his heart for animals as well, especially his beloved little dog, Puppy, who was never far from his affection.Above all,

Marshal loved his family. He was a treasured son, a beloved brother, a precious grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His family loved him beyond what words could ever express, and the memories they made with him will be carried with them for the rest of their lives.

Marshal leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Billy and Kristen Carnahan of the home; his sister, Kimber; his maternal grandparents, lovingly known as "Pop-Pop" and "Gigi," Terrel and Verlene Trumble; his paternal grandparents, lovingly known as "Papa" and "Mimi," Alvin and Teresa Carnahan; Aunt Val and Uncle Brad; Uncle Bub and Aunt Jill; Uncle John; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Although Marshal's life was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the kindness he showed will never be forgotten. His tender heart, gentle spirit, and compassion for others will live on in the hearts of everyone blessed to have known and loved him.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
