Martha Jane Williams

September 8, 1943 — December 6, 2014

Jane Williams passed away Saturday, December 6,2014, at her home that she loved on Lake Hinkle. Jane enjoyed her home on the lake front and fishing on Lake Hinkle.

Jane was born Martha Jane Williams in Georgetown, Texas on September 8,1943 to Burness and Clara Williams. After graduation from Georgetown High School, she attended Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas where she received her B.S. She later graduated from InterAmerican University in San German, Puerto Rico with a M.E. Jane taught school in Miami, Florida; Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico; Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico; Baldwin Schools of Puerto Rico; and Manheim Middle School for the U. S. Army in Manheim, Germany.

After retiring from teaching, she became a farmer and rancher and spent her few spare moments fishing the river. She also worked diligently attempting to restore the U. S. Constitution. She believed strongly that the most important attribute a person could possess was living up to their word. Her friends can attest that she lived up to that goal. After selling her farm, Jane had more time to explore fishing spots and visit her favorite places. She enjoyed her experiences fishing and talking about fishing in the gulf, deep-sea, and area lakes.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert and Tommie. She is survived by her brother Joe, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

At Jane's request there will be no services. Arrangements and Cremation entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas
