Melba Scott

Melba Scott of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Monday, October 13, 2014 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Melba was born July 12, 1933 to Radford House and Ola Mae (Crump) House in Needmore, Arkansas. Melba was 81 years, 3 months and 1 day old.

Melba was a health care provider by trade. She enjoyed going to yard sales and sewing. As loving and caring as Melba was, her family knew without any doubts the love she had for each of them. Time spent making memories were held close to her heart.

Melba leaves behind to cherish her memory, five daughters: Debbie Brock and husband Mike of Greenwood, Arkansas, Pamela Yother and husband Larry of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Glenda Tittle and husband Randy of Springdale, Arkansas, Paula Reed and husband John of Lavaca, Arkansas, Pat Hewett and husband Stan of Charleston, Arkansas, one son Gary Scott and one brother, Roger House. Melba will be forever remain in the hearts of her 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Melba will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including many friends and loved one.

Melba is preceded in death by her husband C.L. Scott, parents Radford and Ola Mae House, one son, Gregory Scott, 2 sisters: Eula Clopton and Estalene Jones, one grandson, David Whitsett and one great granddaughter, Madison San Nicolas.

Melba's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Buffalo Cemetery in Boles, Arkansas, with Paula Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Melba's pallbearers will be Mike Brock, Larry Yother, Randy Tittle, John Reed and Stanley Hewett.
Melba's visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
