Robert "Robby" Reed Flocks

Robert "Robby" Reed Flocks, age 47, of Tulsa, Oklahoma (formerly of Fort smith, Arkansas) passed away on March 27, 2015 outside of Waldron, Arkansas. Robby was born on July 22, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Larry Flocks and Judy Layne Flocks.

Robby graduated from Southside High School in Fort Smith in 1983 then attended the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville and graduated from the University of Arkansas- Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Robby began his career by serving as administrator at Beverly Enterprises in Fort Smith, AR, followed by 6 additional nursing facilities across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Mississippi. Robby loved being outdoors, and enjoyed his time on the lake, hunting, fishing and golf. Robby especially loved playing the guitar and singing with his three musically talented sons and watching his daughter dance. Those that knew Robby knew his love of singing karaoke, the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys. Robby had accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and later attended Jenks First Baptist Church. Robby was known for his ability to light up a room with his sense of humor and a laugh that you'd never forget.

Robby is survived by his wife, Cananda Lee Flocks, his four children, Reed Flocks, of Conway, AR, Connor Flocks of Fayetteville, AR, and their mother Sylvia Hickey of Fort smith, AR, and Peyton and Isabella Flocks of Jenks, OK, his mother, Judy Layne Allen and husband Jim of Fort Smith, AR and his mother and father-in-law Cindy and Gary Johnston of Fort Smith, AR, his sister, Margaret Ross and husband Kevin and their children Dylan and Abby of Alma, AR, Melissa and Kurt Marine of Fort Smith, AR, James and Tamara Allen of Ohio, Heather Richmond of Texas, Josh Allen and his fiance Ashley of Fayetteville, AR, brothers-in-law Neil Johnston and Chad Lee of Fort Smith, AR, Sister-in-law Nikki McNew of Tulsa, Ok, and his uncle Tom Flocks of Fort Smith, AR.

Robby was preceded in death by his father, Larry Flocks, and his brothers Larry and Chris Flocks, his grandparents Floyd and Margaret Hendricks, and Bob and Dorothy Flocks.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will he held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Fort Smith Riverfront Pavilion at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for his four children at "Robby Flocks Children Memorial Fund at Arvest Bank. Those who knew Robby knew without a doubt that his children were the most important thing in his life. His family and friends find peace knowing that Robby is happily in heaven calling those Hogs and singing Margaritaville beside his father and brothers.
