Rodney Dale Frederick

Rodney Dale Frederick of Van Buren, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Rodney was born April 4, 1956 to Joe Frederick and Phyllis Frederick in California. Rodney was 57 years, 8 months and 21 days old.

Rodney was an outdoor person. He loved to fish but turn on the Minnesota Vikings and inside he would come. Rodney was a hard worker and enjoyed his job. He surrounded himself by people he loved and those who loved him. Rodney had a huge heart and it was apparent by the legacy he leaves in his family, friends and co-workers.

Rodney leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 10 years, Mary Frederick of the home, father, Joe Frederick of El Paso, Texas, three daughters, Rhonda Harris and husband Mark, Bonnie Frederick, and Jessie Painter and husband Grant all of Waldron, Arkansas, one step daughter, Mary Rhyne and one step son, Jason Mars both of Van Buren Arkansas, three step sons, BJ Shaddon, Ricky Shaddon and Timothy Shaddon from Waldron, Arkansas and three children from California, Jason, Micha and Melissa. Rodney is also survived by one sister, Kellene and three brothers, Greg, Bobby and Garland. Rodney will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Rodney is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Frederick, one son, Jimmy Dale Frederick, and one grandson, Cody.

Rodney's life celebrations will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday December 28, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Rodney's visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Rodney's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
