Samuel Simpson

Samuel Chester Simpson, Jr. , 83, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, May 24, 2010 in a Waldron, Arkansas nursing home. Samuel was born July 13, 1926 in Abbott, Arkansas to the late Samuel Chester Simpson, Sr., and Dicie Lee (Smith) Simpson. He was an U. S. Navy veteran for eleven years and served in World War II in the South Pacific and England and served thirteen years in the U. S. Air Force in Vietnam, SAC and Guam. He was a member of the American Legion, Lifetime member of the NRA and volunteer at the Waldron Nursing Center. Samuel is survived by his wife of 53 years Virginia (Easton) Simpson of the home; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunts. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted by Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron. Memorials may be made in Samuel?s memory to the Activity Department at the Waldron Nursing Center, P. O.
