Shanna "Ninny" Gayle Gage Parker, 72 years old, of Salt Lake City, Utah went to be with her best friend, her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She was born in Price, Utah on April 5, 1947. Her parents were Clarence Albert Gage and Neola Wilkerson.
Shanna raised 3 children, Jud, Robyn, and Jay Parker on a farm in Bates, Arkansas, where she called home for 37 years. She loved the farm life and enjoyed helping out anywhere she could. She taught the women's Sunday school class at Bates Assembly of God Church for 20 years and she was very passionate about her relationship with God. She was a great example to all that knew her of what it truly means to put God first in your life and live according to the scriptures. In her later years, she moved back to her roots to be with her sister, Rita Branca, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Shanna leaves behind two sisters and one brother: Rita Branca and husband Dick, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Joy Black and husband Clay of Mariposa, California, Rocky Gage, of Rockport, California, and one daughter and two sons: Robyn Rose of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jud Parker and wife Sonia, of Waldron, Arkansas, Jay Parker and wife Deidra, also of Waldron, Arkansas. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Colden Tyrel Parker and wife Jodi, of Akron, Ohio, Steel Clemons, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Zachary Rose, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Emily Bailey and husband Landon, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Autumn Parker, of Waldron, Arkansas and six great grandchildren: Tylnn Parker, Brice Isom, Brooklyn Parker, Chance Parker, Hudson Parker and Lane Parker, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shanna was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Gage and Neola Wilkerson and two brothers, Dale Gage, of Sacramento, California and Elvin Gage, of Salt Lake City, Utah.
A memorial service for Shanna will be held at the Bates Assembly of God Church on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00, in Bates, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Free officiating. Feel free to bring a dish of your choice for a pot luck dinner following the service to rejoice and share in the many stories of her life.
The family asks that no flowers be sent and any donations be given to a cancer facility of your choice.
