In Loving Memory of Sherry Darlene Willis Short

Sherry Darlene Willis Short was born on September 23, 1957, in Wichita, Texas, to Goans Anderson Willis and Betty Rose Spears Willis.

Sherry was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around the people she loved. Her family was a treasured part of her life, and the love, strength, and memories she shared with them will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Goans Anderson Willis and Betty Rose Spears Willis; her husband, James Short; her sisters, Baby Girl Willis and Faye Burnett; her brother-in-law, Carlos Burnett; her brothers, Goans Anderson Willis Jr. and Larry Willis; her sister-in-law, Carol Willis; her brother-in-law, Terry Short; and her great-grandson, Hunter James Vaught.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her children, Tina (Tony) Hutchins, Chuckie (Kelly) Short, Josh Ward, Tammy (Jeremy) Boze, CD (Rusty) Brothers, and Kaine Short.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Evan (Krystal) Vaught, Darrnell Willis, TJ Hutchins Jr., Tate Ward, Jinjer (Brandon) Stuart, Devan Austin, and Mikala (Jeremy) Jones; and her siblings, Anita (Kevin) Milligan, Jennifer (Scott) Howell, Billy Short, and Barbara Hunt.

Sherry's memory will forever remain with the family and friends who were blessed to share in her life. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the strength she showed throughout her life will continue through the generations of her family.
