Sidney Gail Howard

Sidney Gail Howard of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Thursday, October 8, 2015. Gail was born September 26, 1947 in Redlands, California to the late Arnold and Magdeline (Essman) Howard. Gail was 68 years, and 12 days old.

Gail leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter Christy Howard, and three sisters: Nona Arnett, Glenda Hadsock, and Sharon Johnson all of Gallatin, Tennessee; one brother, Gary Howard and wife Cindy of Springfield, Tennessee and one sister-in-law, Glenda Howard of Waldron, Arkansas as well as six step children: Danielle, Samantha, Cody, Melia, Skylor and Daniel. Gail will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Gail was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Magdeline Howard, a baby sister Joyce Ann Howard, one brother, James Ed Howard and his maternal grandparents, William Henry Essman and Maud (Thomas) Essman.

A private graveside service will be in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas with interment to follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.

Gail's visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. A gathering will follow the visitation at the Howard residence on Hwy 248 West in Waldron, Arkansas.
