T. G. Wagner

T.G. Wagner of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. T.G. was born September 10, 1930 to Samual E. Wagner and Iva Mae (Brown) Wagner in Little Texas, Arkansas. T.G. was 85 years, 7 months and 9 days old. T.G. was a longtime member of Chant Lane Pentecostal Church in Y-City, Arkansas.

T.G. was married to the love of his life, Rose Wagner for 40 years before she went to Heaven to wait for him. They were soul mates, best friends and shared the title of grandparents. T.G. was a soft spoken, kind hearted gentleman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching old Western movies on television and bull riding. He loved his family. He treasured the times he could spend with those grandchildren and great grands. It was without hesitation or misunderstanding when T.G. stated he had a date to keep with his Rose.

T.G. leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Sue Wheelis and one son, Tim Wagner and wife Treva all of Waldron, Arkansas. Papa will forever remain in the hearts of four granddaughters: Jennifer McCafferty and husband Chris, Amber Underwood and husband Torrance, Misty Parsons and husband Danny and Amber Copeland as well as 12 great grandbabies. T.G. is also survived by his sister-in-laws, Annie Jean Wagner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Barbara Taylor and husband Herbert of Mansfield, Arkansas and one brother-in-law Pete Kovalck of Fort Smith, Arkansas. T.G. will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones he treasured.

T.G. was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Rose Wagner, his parents, Sammie and Iva Wagner and one brother, Clarence Wagner.

T.G.'s life celebration will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Mike Shaddon and Bro. Randy Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

T.G.'s pallbearers will be Richie Brothers, Justin Brothers, Brad Evans, John Taylor, Paul Taylor and Mark Kovalck. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Mize, H.D. Brown, Gary Ashford, Robert Wagner, J.D. Brothers, Herbert Taylor and Bob Edwards.

T.G.'s visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
